HSIP Feedback

dashed line

Following the release of GAO Report 09-35, which looked at the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), the Federal Highway Administration Office of Safety is soliciting feedback on issues related to minimum roadway inventory elements and crash data.

FHWA will host a listening session at the 2010 Transportation Research Board Meeting in Washington, DC:

When: 5:30PM - 6:30PM, Monday, January 11, 2010
Where: Marriott Wardman Park, Ethan Allen Room

FHWA hopes to hear ideas and comments regarding mandatory roadway inventory elements, on scheduling inventory data improvements and on other approaches proposed by local and state-level stakeholders.

FHWA also hosted two feedback Webinars. Materials from these Webinars are linked below.
